Algaval aastal Eestis kasutusele võetav euro toob käibele harjumatu hulga metallraha, millega toimetamine võib tekitada esialgu segadust bussiliikluseski.
„Kui seni ei jäänud bussid sõiduplaanidega jänni, siis nüüd, ma kardan, tekivad seetõttu, et juhil tuleb hakata peenraha lugema ja tagasi andma, ajanihked,” tõdes Pärnu maavalitsuse transpordinõunik Avo Rahu. „Saan aru, et lennu- või laevapiletite ostmisel kassas, kus inimesel pole tulist kiiret, võidakse krooni- ja eurosentidega mängida, aga bussis liinil kusagil peatuses saab see olema raske", kirjutab Pärnu Postimees.
